Kingdoms to Today
Covering Sikh history from the end of the Lahore kingdom of Maharaja Ranjit Singh to the creation of modern day India and Pakistan. Among the highlights are a 1863 portrait by George Richmond of Rani Jindan and a diamond and ruby studded pearl necklace that she once owned. Rani Jindan was the mother of Maharaja Duleep Singh, the last sovereign ruler of the Lahore kingdom.
